Three-year old murdered in driveby in Sacramento (Updated)

Jorge Avios, 3, was shot to death last night on Loucreta Drive in Sacramento County.  Allegedly he was riding in a car with his dad when some folks in another car opened fire on the car.  The toddler was hit by multiple shots and the dad drove him to the hospital where he died.

UPDATE:  To my complete lack of surprise, the cops think that the father, a documented gang member who is both on state parole and realignment probation, was almost certainly the target of the shooting.  Clicking here will link to a much more substantial and more recent Sacramento PRAVDA piece on this story.

UPDATE:  The cops now have three names suspects in this case.  Gabriel Quintero, 20, Eric Minjares, 17, and Marcus Weber, 16, are all being sought for this murder.  They believe that Jorge Azios Jr, 22, was the driver for the others who were shooters.  Clicking here will link to a brief update from the Sacramento PRAVDA on this sad story.

UPDATE:  All three suspects are currently in custody.  They all turned themselves in on July 10.
