Judge rules for more mental health care

justiceYour friend and mine, Judge Lawrence Karlton, ruled yesterday that the mental health care for death row inmates is deficient in the formerly great state of California.  He further ordered CDCr to work with the special master to improve that care.

Deborah Hoffman, paid liar for the department, is quoted as saying, “The state is committed to providing quality medical and mental health care for all inmates.”    It seems likely that the state is going to set up a mental health care operation at San Quentin solely for death row inmates, according to the piece linked here from the AP.
