Nick Medina, 38, is a sexually violent predator from Colorado. On June 17 parole agents visited his motel room in Lakewood and found things he should not have had, including a cell phone with “inappropriate content” on it. The parole agents did NOT roll him up at that time, and a week later returned the cell phone to him, after purging the “inappropriate content” from it. That happened on June 26.
One of his conditions of parole was to check in from a land line phone not later than 10:00 a.m. every day. He didn't call in on June 30, and at 11:46 his monitor sent in a tamper alarm. At 13:12 he was discovered to be missing from his motel room. They got a warrant on him on July 1. For some reason the locals were not notified of the warrant. It seems that parole never notified CBI (Colorado Bureau of Investigation) in order to have the warrant entered into the system. Medina is now in the wind.
When the Colorado DOC was asked why a known violent sexual predator was not rolled up for his first violation, paid liar Alison Morgan replied, “The practice is under review by our Executive Director (Rick Raemish).”
